Affidavit of Adam Casas

My name is Adam Casas. I am over the age of eighteen and I am capable of making 
this affidavit. I have not been threatened, nor have I been promised or given 
anything in exchange for making this affidavit.

I was in the Lamb County Jail when Alberto Sifuentes and Jesus Ramirez were there.  
I was locked up in the West tank at the Lamb County Jail with Alberto Sifuentes, a 
white guy named Tracy Frazier, Fernando Garcia, and a couple of other guys.  David 
Montoya who we called Jake was there also. Everybody there was getting onto Alberto 
because they thought he shot the woman at the Jolly Roger. They, we, were all 
getting on him and a couple of guys wanted to beat up Alberto. After a while 
Alberto said "fuck that bitch". That's all I ever heard him say. Later on I got 
a visit from an Investigator who said he was from Austin. He bragged about having 
shot someone and he carried a gun.  I told that man what Alberto said about "fuck 
that bitch". The Investigator asked me if Alberto said he shot the woman. I told 
him I could have heard something like that and he asked me to testify that's what I 
heard. I asked him for help on my cases and he said they would. I don't know why 
I never testified in front of the jury. I never really heard Alberto say he shot 
the woman.

I was a trustee at the Lamb County Jail a couple of times while I was locked up. I 
know that Tracy Frazier had a cell of his own. He had a t.v., he got smokes, extra 
food and everything. Frazier told me the D.A.'s told him if anybody harassed him 
he could bust them up and they would back him.

Joe Medrano was a trustee at the old county jail there in lamb County. Medrano told 
me flat out that he was going to lie on Ramirez. Joe Medrano is one sorry dude.

I swear and affirm that the information I have provided in this three page affidavit 
is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.
